Artistic Licence considers the responsible use of personal information to be important. In general you can visit this website without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Artistic Licence Engineering Ltd is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998, registration number: Z9899577.

However, if you share your contact information with us – such as when making a purchase, signing up for our newsletter or requesting product or technical information – it’s important that you understand how this is used and how you can control its usage, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

Customer Accounts

If you have a customer account, Artistic Licence may require personal information in order to manage your account or to provide you with access to its services. Any such information will be used exclusively by Artistic Licence and will not be shared with any other party except:

1. Where required to facilitate your stated requirements, such as processing a credit card order or shipping goods to you by a commercial carrier.
2. With our dealer network where our local dealer may be able to offer additional support.
3. Where it is required by EU law.

This data is held within Artistic Licence internal company databases including MRPeasy, Xero and Goldvision CRM software packages.

Email Newsletter sign-up

We use Brevo to manage our email marketing service. Brevo is GDPR compliant, enabling our users to give ‘double opt-in’ consent when subscribing, and the ability to unsubscribe at any time. When you sign up to our newsletter, you are agreeing to:

  • The storage of your email address in Brevo
  • Receive marketing emails from our Brevo account

However, your email address will NOT be shared with any other Third-Party for marketing purposes.

General Enquires, Product Information and Technical Support requests

Any enquiry – via the website or our company email/phone contacts – where personal information is shared will only be used to provide the services or information you have requested from us. Such data is held on our company servers.
