Commissioner™ is a hand-held tool for testing, programming and configuring DMX512/RDM and/or DALI lighting installations.

There are 2 product variants:

  • Commissioner rdmx – Supports  DMX512 & RDM
  • Commissioner multi – Supports DMX512, RDM & DALI

Commissioner rdmx

Commissioner rdmx is a hand-held tool for testing, programming and configuring lighting installations or fixtures. It supports DMX512 and RDM. Handy features include a backlit display, DIP switch calculator and micro-USB port for providing direct power or for recharging the internal 2 x AA NiMH batteries.

The output connector is an RJ45. For applications that require a connection to XLR5, an optional adapter cable can be purchased separately (please see Commissioner Cable DMX XLR).

Commissioner multi

Commissioner multi supports all the features of Commissioner rdmx. Additionally, it has a wealth of DALI functionality, including direct control over DT8 colour changers.

The product is supplied with all the necessary test leads: a phono-to-croc clip for DALI and the Commissioner Cable DMX XLR.
